Friston Forest
Looking for a chalk white horse and deer, I found beautiful trees. A beautiful forest not far from the Seven Sisters in East Sussex. Such a peaceful place to lose yourself.
There’s a quiet stillness to it: the soft rustle of leaves underfoot, the filtered light between the trees, that sense of peace you only find when you stop for a moment and listen to the forest breathe.
It’s one of those places that seems to hold the season in its branches — rich golds and fading greens marking the shift towards winter. In print, the tones are beautifully subtle, with that gentle, diffused light that always feels a little like magic when it appears.
