It’s taken me far too long to write this but I think it’s fair to say I won’t be able to do Gallerie Schmetterling justice with my words. From the moment I stepped in I was welcomed by the most lovely lady who had passion and an amazing story with every piece of art. I saw multiple pieces I wanted to take straight away but need to take my time on them bit by bit. The photograph I picked in the end spoke to me so strongly. Having lost my dad last year it just brought me joy and warm memories like how amazing is it that a photograph can have that much power. Thank you so so much and I can’t wait to get my next one.
Spent a lovely morning visiting this gallery; amazing photography and some lovely gift ideas. Barbara was on hand to explain the circumstances around some of the shots, which really brought them to life. Highly recommended :)
Barbara is an artist! It is so nice to find local businesses as Gallerie Schmetterling. I went in there and couldn't make my mind up! So much to choose from! The pictures were impressive and beautiful. I ended up purchasing a jigsaw (1000 pieces and we're about half way through it now-so entertaining!) from a beach in Norfolk full of seal pups. And I couldn't resist and had to buy a framed picture of an Irish cottage by the sea as well. Talking to Barbara you can learn the story behind every picture and it is great to know that your are not hanging a meaningless mass produced pictures on your wall... 100% recommend.

Whether it's wildlife or landscapes, the subjects are captured beautifully in her work - I visited with my mother and we purchased all manner of things, from postcards, to travel mugs, to a cute owl bag! We're in love with everything, and the service was incredible. The Gallery itself is a cosy place which shows off the stunning photography inside!

Really lovely shop with a wide range of products from water bottles, to blankets all with gorgeous pictures of nature at its best! I've got a cushion which is fab quality a suede kind of material on the back and I've got a beautiful Highland Cow called Daisy on mine!

I love the photo of the kissing swans and have numerous items depicting this romantic scene. They also make excellent gifts for family and friends.
I have visited Gallerie Schmetterling on quite a few occasions and have been very impressed not only with the customer service but the items for sale. If you want purchases that are exclusive and good quality this is definitely the place to visit. I love my coasters!
