While I was just standing and watching the waves, when I noticed this stone. It was lying in the sand by the edge of the waves. The tide was going out and the sandy pattern was drying. I caught it just at the right time. Any earlier and the wet pebble wouldn’t have allowed for such a crisp pattern, any later and the wind may have completely blown the dry sand away.
